Silent Hill f: Dark Shrine Treasure Hall Complete Walkthrough

Hinako awakens back in the Dark Shrine after her previous ordeal and is once again tasked by the Fox Mask to follow him. Navigate through the eerie hallways until you reach a Hokora Shrine and a nearby gate. Opening this gate reveals a massive, intricate mural that you can interact with.

Approach the table located to the right of the mural and read the notes there. These documents task you with finding three mystical crests to complete the mural. A door to the left, guarded by fox statues, must be entered to begin your search.

Fox Statue Mechanics

Upon entering the fox statue room, locate the fox statue on the left side to pick up a crucial note. The statue will change its pointing position - follow the direction it indicates to proceed through the correct doorway.

The Black Sparrow Crest is located at the far end of the room you've entered, guarded by an Oi-Omoi enemy. Additional rooms contain Blade Legs monsters that will ambush you unexpectedly.

The second crest, the White Sparrow, requires navigating through another dangerous room filled with guarding enemies. Follow these detailed steps to secure this essential item.

Navigate to the Crest Room

Take the right door from the mural room to return to the Fox Statue area. While you can check the various fox statues, proceed directly to the door ahead of your entry point to reach the crest chamber.

Enemy Elimination

Upon entering the crest room, you'll face a Drum Monster and subsequent groups of Blade Legs. Eliminate all visible threats, then use your Focus Sense on walls marked with bloody sigils to reveal hidden Blade Legs monsters that must also be defeated.

Crest Collection and Exit

After clearing all enemies, collect the White Sparrow Crest from the central table. Exit through the left door, which will loop you back to the mural room, leaving only one final crest to locate.

The final crest, the Fox Mask, requires one more journey into the increasingly distorted fox statue room and overcoming the most challenging enemies yet guarding the crest.

Navigate the Warped Fox Room

Enter the fox statue room once more through the right door. The room will appear more distorted than before. From the entrance, head to the leftmost corner door to access the correct crest room.

Final Boss Battle

Progress through the room until you reach the crest table, where you'll face a Birthing Monster accompanied by Blade Legs. This is one of the most difficult encounters in the Dark Shrine - defeat all enemies to unlock the chest containing the Fox Mask Crest.

Crest Acquisition and Exit

A significant cutscene triggers after the battle, after which the Fox Mask Crest will be automatically collected. Exit through the right side of the room to complete this section.

Return to the mural puzzle with all three crests in your possession. Place each crest in their correct positions on the mural. The solution varies depending on your current ending conditions, but the primary method involves arranging the crests according to the poetic clues found in your journal.

Proceeding to the Final Door

Once the mural puzzle has been successfully solved, the mural transforms into a grand gate that Hinako can pass through. Watch the ensuing cutscene carefully, as it transitions you back to Ebisugaoka.
